Jen Williams is a writer and communications leader with over 14 years of experience across industries, including advertising, automotive, and healthcare. She specializes in internal communications, employee engagement, and leadership communication. Jen has guided communications efforts for organizations including Ford Motor Company and Michigan Medicine (University of Michigan Health System), where she served as a communications advisor to C-suite executives and partnered with Marketing and HR teams to enhance company culture, improve internal and leadership messaging, and drive employee engagement. Her work was recognized with the 2025 Top Women in Media & AdTech Award, underscoring her commitment to creative and inclusive communication.
Jen started her career as a government staffer and freelance journalist. Over the years, she has dedicated time to learning more about the craft of writing, expanding her journalism experience with a growing passion for fiction. She is a member of the Detroit Writing Room community and earned a certificate from the Yale Writers’ Workshop taught by best-selling author R.F. Kuang. She has also completed a writer’s residency with Rosemary’s House in Greece.
Jen is the author of the Substack newsletter, Forever Inspired, a collection of writings exploring workplace communication, creativity, and random encounters of inspiration.
She earned a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism from Bowling Green State University. She resides in the Metro Detroit Area and when she's not writing, Jen enjoys adventures with her son, ballet classes, and traveling.
